Website Manager is a handy Utility to manage in a friendly way a website through the FTP protocol: you can upload/download files, change their name etc.
Uploading and downloading of queued files and folders (i.e. directories) supported.
Resuming of interrupted uploads/downloads supported.
Creation of desktop-links to specific addresses supported (i.e. double-clicking an address opens the specified directory of the webSite).
Have you people (who gives the bad ratings) click into this Developer's link before? Take a look on those pictures...
These software were made by these monks who lives in Bangladesh. Poor guys probably not have many chances to get their hands on all the latest fancy pants UI Mac OS X software that we people are SO used to in our world!!! And they charge their software all because they use the money to support themselves.
1. WEB is not an acronym, so shouldn't be all caps.
2. This is just a generic FTP client - there's nothing specifically for web admin in here.
3. This is easily the WORST generic FTP client I've seen in the last 15 years. Clunky, ugly, slow, crashy and generally a pain.
Try Cyberduck, or better yet either Transmit or Interarchy - just anything but this.
I really can't beleive this product, who is it aimed at/ There are a number of very good ftp clients that do all this and more in a better interface...Fetch, Transmit and the FREE cyberduck. FREE is the same as free but louder.
There is even a free ftp plugin for firefox that i have found very good...a bit windows oriented but good none the less...this I accept works from a technical point of view but not as a copy of a concept.
