The GUI overall looks very nice, but the documentation needs to be fixed in a large way. I can't use an app if either iWeb Extender can't find where to put the files or at least tell me where to put them (the help documentation doesn't specify).

looks like a GREAT IDEA and great tool!
its incredible! why Apple developers dont make this features like a "standards" on iWeb application??
a suggestion/request:
- i need point some links "target=_blank"... can you make some for this?
- more customizable place for "counter" in page
THANX!
Thanks for the review!
I'm not quite sure what you are asking for with the target thing, email me at: me@grimbo.name and we can talk about it.
As for the stat counter stuff - you can basically create whatever statcounter you want. I use statcounter.com, and then paste the HTML code into the 'Paste Stat Counter Code Here' box in iWebExtender. I like the idea of tying placement of it to their stat counter element though.
Have a great week,
G
I would like to know if the iWeb Extender should be saved in some iWeb folder so as to be integrated with it or it's a separate application that functuons by itself
Thank you.
1.06b is a seperate program that you run after using iWeb's 'Publish to a Folder' feature. See http://iWebExtender.com/Documentation.html for a bit more complete description.
Direct iWeb integration is coming in a few more versions.

Thanks for the comment and rating!
The comment and stat counter insertion work fine ( see http://iWebExtender.com/Funk.html for an example ), but admittedly there is very little documentation on how to use them at the moment ( So far in the beta I have been spending all my time on fixing bugs rather than working on documentation - I'm a naughty naughty developer! (slaps own wrist)).
What documentation there is currently exists in the form of tooltips (hover the mouse over a control for a few seconds to see what it does). Almost every UI elements support this right now.
As a quick note, to use comments and trackbacks:
1] sign up for a free haloscan.com account
2] on the tab page entitled 'Comments and Stats' enter your username into the box provided, and check the 'Add Comments' checkbox.
3] Anywhere in your site you want comments, insert the text 'HaloscanComments' - and it will be replaced with the correct Haloscan code to generate a comment block.
Better documentation (and probably a new version supporting direct FTP) will be up this weekend.
Thanks!
G

This should help clarify how each of the features work.
Have a great weekend,

How about an option that will automatically place the comments section above the apple that iWeb generates? It would sure beat manually adding this text every time.
