Version 1.2:
- The world map has been improved.
- Two new timezones were added (Newfoundland and Rawaki Islands) - that"s a total of 31 timezones, now.
- Some of timezone descriptions in the PopUpButton have changed.
- Fixed a bug that may have occurred when switching the zones very fast while using the slider.

It would be good if you could simply select your time zone from the map instead of having to try and figure out which time zone you are in from the clunky drop-down menu.
If these improvements could be made it might find a permanent home on my hard drive, but not yet.
Daylight saving time indication will be added to the next version.
Timezone selection directly from the map is a very good idea! That will sure be possible in the next release.

there are some advanteges: you don't have to switch back to your timezone, when you've discovered the time at your desired place. Also, the names of the timezones are not displayed in the OS X pref pane.
I wrote this app especially because I often surf on U.S. websites and since I'm from Germany I always had to look up the difference between CET, EST... and my own time.
But there is way more I want to add to TimeShift, so be anxious and see what come next. ;)
btw: I just saw that you're the admin of MacUpdate. Thanks for this great platform!
