I've found random problems pasting snippet of text from other apps (text in rtf format is the worst). Widget main windows doesn't expand properly and overwrite portion of text.

Good interface, I love the minimalistic approach. Hope it become better in future releases.

Love this free widget and want to use it all the time - it can deal with the CSS tags with ease, but I just can't work out how to get it to correctly post the title, thus it doesn't update my RSS feed. I have to manually go into Blogger, break the post up (even though I specified the correct CSS) and republish, which sort of defies the point for using the widget at all. I know there's probably a way, but I've scored ita 2 on features because of the lack of (a) a title field or (b) some instructions as to how to sort this out. 1.1 feature maybe?

Apart from that detail, big respect and thanks to the developer for creating it and getting it so stable and user friendly. I will continue to use it as its quite a covert way to blog at work (lol) but will be looking into how to get this title sorted. Want to score all 5's!

Works. I find it annoying that you can't click below the text in order to set the cursor after the end of the current text. Instead you have to carefully click just barely to the right of the end of the text. Apple's notepad widget has the same annoyance. Also, contextual menus don't work, and there's no spell checking. Also needs some basic features such as a link button to easily add a link to the text of your post. I'm more interested in the ability to add a link *in* the text, as opposed to the "Link" feature available on the web page that puts a link after the end of the text. Still, this is exactly the kind of thing the Dashboard is actually good for - bogs are all about quickly posting entries, and there's no quicker way to do it than this widget.

Seems to do the job, albeit from a bare bones approach.

Hopefully, future versions will include more of the features that are available when you log in from a browser.

Thanks for the reply...
Yes, that's the main reason I keep Flock around.
But still, I'm surprised that such an acclaimed browser as Safari pretends to be doesn't support these features...

I wonder why you can't use all the writing options under safari when you can with others browsers, such as Flock, for example...
This widget either doesn't solve the problem...

Part of the reason that you can't use a lot of the same features as in Firefox and Flock on sites like Blogger and Livejournal is because Safari doesn't have full support for rich-text editing for web pages. Some aspects of the editing are available, but don't work as well as in the other applications. That's why it's always handing to have a copy of Firefox, Flock, or Camino around to use in case you like that kind of blogging.
