Looking at the screenshot, I do not imagine one second to buy a product so ugly.

The button bar is the worst that I ever encountered.

This is the most aweful looking software on any platform! The web site doesn't do it any justice either.

Ok so you can pay money for a filemaker database that someone obviously spent a lot of time working on making sure it has a field for EVERYTHING or you can use some software that will help you manage your collection like Delicious Library. There is a reason that time and time again Delicious Library gets voted the best management software for books, dvds and software. Plus tracks who you might have lent things to and has other developers working on plugins. If you want to use the right software for the tool go here:
http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/16417 but if you are looking for a canned filemaker database that (lets face facts) looks awful, well then, enjoy...

Delicious Library isn't all that great. It's ok, but the GUI requires an inordinate amount of mousing, and it lacks the features and attention to detail of other multimedia cataloging applications in its price range. Furthermore, DL is being developed at the pace of a tortois. I used DL for about three years before moving up to DVDpedia, and during that time the developer issued a few maintenance updates but added no significant new features or feature enhancements.

Guys and Gals
In comparison to other DVD cataloging programs this one is by far the best. I've cataloged over 350 Movies effortlessly and uneventfully. The new highlight searches in v1.21 for actors within the complete cast of my movie collection is outstanding. Functionally there is no equal. Interface wise is up to individual taste which is not important to me especially when there are choices available. Try the others and judge for yourself.

I can be wrong but nevertheless find kind of strange a post written by someone who seem to have registered on MU on the sole purpose to write a glowing 5 stars review for a program defiled by all others reviewers. Moreover, there have been no other posts written by this guy since.

you seriously need to hire a graphic designer for that interface.
and for your website as well.

You want money for this mess?

Ladies and gentlemen. The first blind Mac OS programmer. Take a bow.

You should pay me to use this. Now, if you will excuse me, I have to wash out my eyes with vinegar and hopefully try and get past this traumatic experience.

The WORST program I have ever seen to date. Congrats. Who cares how anything works when it looks this bad. You should be banned from your computer!

I've tried all the movie dvd cataloging programs and I have found this program to be the best. The tooltip instructions are great. The choice of interfaces are excellent. I can retreive any movie star bio.The academy awards graphics are beautiful. I have so far cataloged over 500 movies without any problems. I have even cataloged movies that are not yet available on dvd.
