vID Infiltr8 is an opensourced metadata tagger for MPEG-4 files. The opensourced command line program AtomicParsley is wrapped in a familiar GUI to set persistent metadata into files. Multiple pieces of artwork & a subset of video-related tags are supported. Batch editing is fully supported and contains a number of preferences items to facilitate fast tagging. Artwork can be limited by filesize, dimension & can be squared up. Using the preferences, the table can be adapted to display selective tags - to see at a glance what needs to be done. Many tags that iTunes hides from end-users are supported

  • updated to svn build of AtomicParsley (Jul24) that supports setting & using padding, numbers greater than 256, Audiobook stik setting & large file support (2.1 to 4.3GB)
  • added pref tab to set the padding preferences (amount added, minimum & max present)
  • added new stik setting of "Booklet" & "Audiobook"

It seems that the program has some problems with a non-USA system. I got a couple of errors.

Still getting AppleScript errors like:

- Can't make "10.4" into type real. (-1700)

- NSReceiverEvaluationScriptError: 4 (1)
