High Priority is a menu extra whose sole purpose is to help you manage your To Dos in a simple, intuitive, and pleasant manner. Leveraging the power and simplicity of iCal, High Priority allows you to create, edit, and remove your To Do items directly from the menu bar, without having to have iCal open.

High Priority is inexpensive shareware and may be used indefinitely in it's unlicensed state to view and edit To Do items. Licensing will allow you to create New To Do items and gain priority technical support.

Excellent! But I have one feature request:

- Possibility to add reminders/alarms for events, just like in iCal.

An excellent program, just what I was looking for. However one thing I would like to see is that when you have your todo's sorted by calendar they are listed by priority instead of alphabetically.

I have already emailed this suggestion to the developer (I am a registered user) but so far have had no response.

High Priority is exactly what I've been looking for. No more. No less. It even incorporates flexibility I didn't know I wanted, but I appreciate now. It's unobtrusive, elegantly designed, and I love that I don't need iCal running to check (or check off) items on my to-do lists.

The new features added in 1.1 include the keyboard shortcut to invoke the menu that I was hoping for, so I'm completely happy with this lean little utility now. And at only $6 for a personal license, High Priority is worth this meager amount just to support developers like this. If you use iCal, try HP -- you'll be using it and loving it within 30 seconds of downloading.

Elegant in every way, and extraordinarly affordable. A totally functional To Do List right there on the menu bar, perfectly integrated with iCal. If you try it, you'll want it.

What about Tomorrow's Calendar?
High Priority is a must. Simple, elegant, and tenable. I would encourage the developer to generalize this beauty to include (say) tomorrow's calendar. At the end of the process, iCal may become (indirectly)something one can enjoy working with...

This application is top notch. And the price is fabulous.

As a suggestion to those who bought this, I really recommend using it in conjunction with another fabulous schedule/todo application; iCalViewer.

That way, I can easily see and edit the todo's that I have in HighPriority (which is in the menubar) and then let them be displayed (on the desktop) by iCalViewer.

Thanks to the developer of High Priority for the low price tag. I'm definitely giving it 5 stars in all respects!
