Really customer unfriendly! Software has several bugs and crashes. Help requests to support have not been answered. Forum on providers website has been removed. Maybe you'll have more luck by contacting directly the developer Yves Pellot, email yves@fishbeam.de or phone +49 7531 802 8822.

Web projects created with V3.4 can't be exported nor published with the new V3.6. Application shows error and after that application is freezed and must be killed. No reaction from support (as usual). Support for this product is really bad.

Comment: save your money. You can learn to do this, and while you are learning, there are more reasonable choices on MacUpdate that actually work.

Goldfish Standard V3.4: Easy to use tool but with features 'Google Analytics' and 'Google Webmaster Tools' not working.

No support. Multiple requests to Goldfish support have not been answered.

Version 3.2 is proof that the developer doesn't listen to customers. One year since version 3.1 came out and none of the suggestions in the forums were applied.

Forums are overrun with spam, no questions answered by the developer, emails are ignored. I'm not upgrading anymore.

Try Flux, or Artisteer (not on MacUpdate).

Well, I had a quick try of it and it looks really easy to use, BUT there's a huge disadvantage of using such a proprietary format editor, that nobody seems to notice:
What happens if you have to work on an existing site created with some other app? Or if you lose your Goldfish project?
No way to recover it from html pages...
As far as I can see, it's impossible to import directly an existing html page!!!
Not to talk about a complete website...
(there's a way to paste code, which is not really convincing, but anyway: imagine doing copy/pastes for an entire website!)

It's a pity that such a nice app stays closed in its fishbowl instead of opening itself to the rest of the world: otherwise, I bet it would a best seller. :-(

After giving in and upgrading, I have to say that I can reluctantly recommend this software again. Version 3.1 is an excellent upgrade and things seem to be very polished.

I found that the developer is in Germany. Therefore most of the support is German and the language barrier keeps us English people in the dark. If you look at the German support forums, they are very active, while the English ones are a ghost town.

But at least I know that the product is being supported and regularly bug fixed. However I'm still not happy with the cost of the upgrade.

I see that one of the features of Goldfish 3 Pro is "Personal e-mail support from Fishbeam." Really? I hope so, for the developer's sake, because, as stated below, support has been nonexistent for ... well, forever. I have used this app since Version 1 and never got a response to an email, and the forum had a lot of people asking questions, but no one getting answers. That's too bad, too, because this is a good app with great potential. Kind of a big jump from 2.3 to a paid upgrade for 3.0, though, especially when there have been hardly any updates. Oh, well [sigh], off I go to give 3.0 a whirl.

After a year it seems the developer has come around to redesign his web site and support forums. Unfortunately, all previous comments were erased with the old support forums.

I can't, in my right mind pay for an upgrade to 3.0 knowing the developers past history with no support.

I was a v1 purchaser back in the day when there was a forum with some active users who would take a newbie by the hand. Then any so-called "support" vanished with the new version and a wiped out forum. Needless to say the users trickled away until nothing essentially remains. I can't speak for the German users but it would seem to me that to even suggest you have help in another language you might at least have moderators there and not flush past comments down the toilet to cover your hind end from criticism. I liked the ease of use of the early product but such practices leave me with a sour taste and no desire to be raped for upgrades.
