Nice app" Ok' AES 128 encryption, Not exactly fort knox" But' I like it, and it takes pride and place in my Mac. I particularly favor the interface simplicity and action of the program, simple and straight forward, It's enough to keep prying eyes off of sensative data from a local point of view. well done"
Nice job. Two requests for a future version to make safeThis even safer. Keep Add to KeyChain unchecked by default, and use stronger encryption. AES 128 these days is a joke.
What is needed more than anything is a truly cross platform AES-128 (FIPS compliant) free encryption tool that can live on a thumb drive. JFileCrypt is about as close as I have seen so far.
Nice idea and works as claimed. Only wish it used an algorithm stronger than AES128:
“In October 2005, Adi Shamir and two other researchers presented a paper demonstrating several cache timing attacks against AES. One attack was able to obtain an entire AES key after only 800 writes, in 65 milliseconds. These attacks require the attacker to be able to run programs on the same system that is performing AES encryptions.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AES
