LotsaWater renders a fairly realistic water effect over your desktop, showing it distorted through the wavy surface of the water as raindrops fall on the surface.

It uses quite a bit of CPU power. There are configuration options to vary the accuracy of the simulation to fit the processing power available.

Hey I found a little "bug"... it's not really a problem but that's strange Oo. When you're in launchpad and if Lotsawater launches ... move to stop it and it continues. You need to click, that closes the launchpad, and in the same time lotsawater stops. It's just to let you know ... it's still the best screen saver of the world ! I really love it!

Good Screensaver, But there is a bug: I'm running Mac os X 10.7.1. And under the main Desktop (number 1) when there is some windows opened it shows black bars Goshawks of the screen.
Plz fix this :'(

i really love this simple but beautiful screensaver.
but i get a black screen. i'm on 10.7.2 on a 2008 MBP. no desktop screenshot anymore. but custom image works fine.

This is my favourite screensaver. I did have the problem where, if you hit a hot corner the screensaver works but with a black background. It was driving me nuts because I wanted it to show the desktop. The fix is to go to your Security settings in System Preferences and then to the General tab. Uncheck "Require password after sleep or screen saver begins. Then it will work.

It doesn't work! (OS X 10.6.4 here) - it's as though I had the Dimming option set to "Dark", though I actually set it to "Normal." Anything that could be done about this? :/

same problem, the desktop screenshot doesn't work when activates from hot corner or when the screen saver starts automatically, but custom image works fine. I am using Snow Leopard as well. 10.6.2, iMac 8,1

Desktop Snapshot Bug:

When Lotsawater starts from a hot corner, or after the time specified in the Screen Saver Preferences, Lotsawater will not use a “Desktop Snapshot”-it will use a blank, black screen. Lotsawater will only work with a “Desktop snapshot” when invoked using the “Test” button of the Screen Saver Preferences.

The “Custom Image” works fine.

Anyone out there have trouble launching lotsawater from a hot corner?
lotsaglass and lotsaescher work fine from a hot corner.
i am using a 20"imac/intel.

1.2 worked fine on my system, but 1.3 has a glitch. Both the Preview pane and Test mode in System Preferences works, but when using the hot corner to trigger the screen saver, I just get a blank screen. This bug is also present in LotsaEscher 1.2. Running 10.3.9 on a iMac G4 700mhz.

I still think that the author needs to bundle a read me file or have a hot link in the options sheet to link back to his homepage.

A clarification... 1.3 will still work with hot corners if "Desktop Snapshot" is used. The blank screen only seems to occur when using a custom backdrop.
