This is a wonderful product but the company behind it seems to be defunct. It is impossible to even buy a registration to use it beyond the 30-day trial period. Shame.

I've had contact with the company director now and they are struggling with marketing strategy but still support the software. I think it's a case of "watch this space". They are conscious that they need to update their website.

Anyone have a serial for this? I purchased a copy and I guess the company has gone under! I never got my serials or nothin! needless to say i'm pissed if anyone has one please send to me at dhunwick@gmail.com, I can also provide proof of purchase. Thanks.

When I purchased this software almost a year ago I had a similar problem. I did try calling the number on the site to no effect. I finally got through to the developer after calling the manager of the building that his office is in. He provided me with the developer's direct number (it's (416) 861-8299 X221, if you need it) . It still took a couple of days for the the developer to respond to my call and ship the product. His excuse at the time was that his wife had just delivered a baby, which was fair enough. I wonder what the excuse is this year?

I believe this company has gone under. I also get no response from the company when I send email and have also tried countless times.

Furthermore, one of the major features of this product is definitely disabled. You're supposed to be able to carry around a card for "emergency" purposes so that when you need to look up your information via the web you can access it based on an address on that card. As of this writing that address (http://www.bodyjournal.com/er) is non-responsive.

This is also so unfortunate as this product was excellent and showed tremendous promise and with very little competition.

That wouldn't do me much good if I were in ER with a problem. The number is not listed on the provided card that's intended to be carried to provide instant access to one's medical record.

Nicely written OS X app, that also has a Windows version. It has mostly Mac like application features, and also integrates with the website to give you the possibility to enter data into the website, and download it locally to your Mac at another time.

I mostly use this to keep track of my medical conditions, and all of my prescriptions. You can provide a quick print-out of your current meds and conditions. A card is also issued, that someone could theoretically use to look up your medical condition, and I would suspect that something like this will be done in the future to help identify someone with a medical condition, and have all their current records available to the healthcare provider.

I also have scanned in my previous medical records (paper) into a PDF, and "attached" them as documents into this program.

The authors have really thought of almost every possible category. The program is easy to use, and about the only gripe I have with it, is the reporting capabilities.

If you take a lot of prescriptions, or have a medical condition(s), The Body Journal is well worth the money.
