With none of the files I tried anyway.
Looks as if all these join files are designed to be so simple that they do nothing.
Two exceptions :
- Visual Hub is good, but it translates each segment even though they are already in the fnal format sought => larger files or probably not as good as the original because of the double translation
- D-Vision is a jewel for joining avis and mpegs (and eveything else it does), no double translation : very quick and a resulting quality identical to the original segments. Unfortunately, it does not work with mp4.

It wasn't intended to be used as a video-joining tool, nor does it even come close to that (since you mentioned VisualHub and D-Vision, which are video-related apps). Instead, it was specifically meant to be used to join/concatenate smaller pieces of files which have the extensions .001, .002, .003, .004 and so on) and output a single, larger file (this is explicitly stated in the AJoiner's description here at Macupdate).
These files can be in any format, as long as they use Mastersplitter's naming convention (.001 - .999)
Giving this program such a low rating when you obviously didn't have a proper understanding of its purpose just seems unfair, IMHO.

It's fast, it's simple, and it's free. What more could a user ask?

Can recommend this to anyone needing a file joiner.
Great work, thanks.

It is more reliable for this task than Split&Concat (which is great for splitting, btw)
Great job, thanks.
