i personally dislike things that are constantly running unless they are either essential or extremely useful. otherwise i'd just as soon not rob myself of computer resources.

Seems very slow and clunky, but I have an older TiBook, so perhaps that's why. Regardless, the icon alone is worth the download. ;-)

Nice idea, but it looks like it adds too much clutter, and not worth $19.

In addition, Docktopus can be configured to display a Launcher badge on any or all Dock icons. This badge acts as a pop-up menu and can run QuicKeys Shortcuts, AppleScripts, and Automator Workflows. Recently opened files and user-defined collections of files and folders can be added to this pop-up menu making the Dock a more powerful companion in your daily work.
