Biorhythm is the system of three basic human cycles. The physical, emotional and intellectual energies are based upon your birthday. Using your birthday as the starting point, biorhythms can determine the pattern of your high and low energy days in each of these three attributes.

Needs to be resizeable to be bigger, as do many widgets.

You need to turn them on from the back of the widget.

Amusing and neat. And useful, I suppose, if you believe in that stuff (which I...uh, don't). The implementation is smooth. I don't really care for the non-aqua-y window appearance, but then again, that's pretty much the norm with widgets. Anyway, it doesn't look really bad, and the graph looks good. I wish it were resizable, though (another problem I have with most widgets).

I just tried BiorhythmX and this wdgt, but they don't give me the same readings at all. Is there some kinda scientific background to this or it's just BS?

I just ran through a battery of test dates. from Jan 1905 to 1990 and all months. I tested the widget against the biorhythm website http://www.facade.com/biorhythm/

All my tests came out perfectly. What is the date that you are having problems with?

The scientific basis I am not sure about. Do some research on the web.

you know, writing a complex widget is not easy. Dissing the author who has freely dedicated a portion of his life to such endeavors is not very cool. People take advantage of this fact from nearly ever developer of widgets. I feel that given that it is free, I am allowed to promote my software and get angry when people post idiotic comments that make bizarre assumptions about my software instead of emailing me to resolve the issue(s). People freak out like this on me all the time. I just wish users would ask me instead of assuming things.

This whole thing seems so petty. LOL. yeah. if you are in question about this widget... ANY widget, email the author!!! I command you! HA

Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean that you're not out to get me! ;-)

Anyway, why not simply disarm any potental fears with a little info, instead of 'freaking out' yourself?

You bloddy well know the apprehension that the internet inspires these days. Perhaps it's YOUR duty to make it known what your software does, instead of blaming your users 'cuz they couldn't find your buried disclaimers.

Your attitude will insure that I continue to use BiorhythmX 1.8.1 instead.

That is a decent program. I advocate it as well. Use what you feel you want to use. It's a freebie widget. I don't get anything from you or anyone else using it or not using it. I find it hard to believe that people can't connect "Auto Check for Update" with a hit on the internet. I want to believe that everyone gets this concept. Call me an optimist.

Disclaimer: Using this widget can can cause chronic coughing, insanity, hair loss, gangrene, hearing loss, nausea, balnce problems, sleeplessness, nervpus ticks, uncontrollable shaking, pain in the left buttock, skin discoloration, weight gain & loss, short term memory loss, RSI, and back spasms.

Does the biorythm thing slick and looks nice.

Don't really care for all the built-in advertising, though. A site-link? Okay, but advertising all your products? Nah.
