Displays the current temperature for locations around Australia, using data from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology website. The widget's colour varies with the temperature, which can be displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Links take you to detailed observations on the Bureau's website. You can limit the refresh frequency to conserve your download allowance. This widget is a Dashboard version of the Mac OS X application Degrees Down Under. While this widget is freeware, the developers gratefully accept donations via http://web.mac.com/rjsdev/iWeb/software/Donate.html.

DDU is one of the most useful widgets I've got. I have used DDU since it was first released as a normal app, have never had a problem with it and it has always worked flawlessly. I like the way clicking on the station name brings up the BOM regional results and from there, easy access to the regional and state forecasts.

Along with Tide Widget this is a must have for anyone who goes fishing or boating.

I like this widget, its interface is nice and compact but has all the details you need including local time.
It has drop down menus for each state and includes major places in that area to chose from.
