SnippetComposer is for folks who know HTML and want a way to quickly compose HTML snippets, for example, for posting to online forums.

Type or paste HTML in the top input box and SnippetComposer will show the rendered HTML in the bottom box. When you are ready, click the C button to copy your HTML to the pasteboard. Click X to clear the input fields.

What would be cool is, something like this for people that DON'T know HTML, and reversed.

They type in the text and the formatting they want, and it produces html. :)

To Anonymous: Any WYSIWIG-editor can do the reverse. Try TextEdit and save as HTML.

Use Nvu if you need more than that.

Any web browser can do what this widget does. I think what he meant was doing it in the ease and speed a widget can give.
