Now it works again. Apple introduced a bug that got resolved with QuickTime 7.0.4 and Mac OS X 10.4.4.
Enjoy!

I am running OS X 10.4.2 and using iSight, but I get a green window at first. Then when I am resizing the window the camera image appears and updates, but then freezes again when I stop resizing. This happens regardless of whether iChat is open or closed. Please fix this, the application seems cool!

I have OS X 10.4.1. I get a big black square with the words "Smile, you are beautiful today" above it, but no image. I used to have just a grey square until I removed iChat from my menu bar. What else do I need to do to get this to work?

Not completely sure apart from making sure that no other application is currently linked to the iSight and to make sure that the iSight is active (green light). It might help to unplug and replug it. If you can get the following website to show your picture then the setup is fine:

Mirror uses whatever the video-in signal that is coming. Nothing more, nothing less. A green signal could mean that the iSight is attached but has a closed shutter or is elsewhere not transmitting its signal. Try to unplug and replug it and make sure it is functional.
why??
Enjoy!
