A very simple widget that will generate a (somewhat) memorable but random password of various lengths. Passwords contain letters numbers, and symbols.

What's New

Version 0.9:
  • Passwords are now memorable (let me know if I need to work to improve this)
  • Passwords contain symbols
  • No longer relies on Math.random, which seems to be busted in Dashboard

Keychain Assistant is the program that comes with OS X that manages your passwords: lets you view them and nack them up.

In Max OS X Tiger, Keychain Assistant, the "New Password Item" menu item on the File menu, if you press the icon with a picture of a key on it, you get a "Password Assistant" dialog box that hellps you choose a good password.

But, you may like the convenience of a widget with this functionality.
