fixed a bug where a time change (for example daylight savings) was not noticed and so reminders could happen at the wrong time.

My favourite program for many years. Very accurate and simple to use,no problems with Snow Leopard. Recommend it.

After purchasing Birthday Buzzer I still have not received full version even after 6 days
I have emailed twice to product support but to no response at all . Very disappointed after supporting developer and paying for product.

While some of the features of BB are included in the OS, I find the reminder window helpful, and the growl integration makes it even easier to remember the most urgent birthdays. Rather than count the days myself, BB takes care of it. It even helps me remember my own birthday!

how nice it would be to pay $9 for something that iCal can do for free.

Actually, no. iCal doesn't allow you to create alarms for the events in your automatic "Birthday" Calendar. Which sucks. The whole point of having it in your calendar is so you can be reminded about it, right? Poor thinking on Apple's part. That's also why "Birthday Buzzer" is not the only software out there that creates reminders for birthdays in your address book. Now, how about something that does the same for other dates in my address book?
