I guess it's a problem with 10.5.2 and/or with graphics drivers, but on my MacBook Pro, before even starting a race the game locked up (horrible music still playing...) and I couldn't move the mouse.
Force quit didn't work.
Could log in with SSH and tried to kill the the Jammin' Racer process. That didn't help except for that the music stopped.
NVChannel(GL): Graphics channel timeout!" in the log.
Apple; please fix.
It's 2008 and I don't want to force restart my computer anymore. :)
Danlab Games provides AWFUL customer service. Very awful. For me, there was no service at all! I've sent them two messages regarding problems I'm having with the password they issued for Jammin'Racer. They've never replied any of my mail. I think this attitude gives shareware a bad name. What good is a product if the developer cannot address customers' problems? This doesn't appear to be an isolated case and you'll find many similar complains from those who have to contact them for help. Buyer beware!
With this new release, the cars handle _much_ better now. Very smooth, even with my bluetooth keyboard. (Poor handling was my only real complaint from the last release, and it's great that the developer(s) are addressing the issue.)
Graphically, the game has always looked great, but hey, added car and environment details are always welcomed.
Overall, this is a solid release and well worth checking out.
Great graphics and very playable, even with a keyboard, which is traditionally where most driving games have disappointed me in the past. This is a fun game, similar to Mario Kart in many ways.

This game won't work with my new mini and the old VGA-monitor.
Why are there no options/settings?
Excelent racing game. No nonsense just get to the front and win.
Cute graphics and good sound, reminds me of some other racing games but still good in its own right.

I have sent mail for weeks to the developer but no reaction at all so far.
