RSSBean is a mini RSS reader which is implemented as a Dashboard widget. Compare to other full featured RSS Reader applications, RSSBean intend to be a much simple, lightweight one with features like "auto scrolling".

Strange, now the refresh is working as it seems. Anyone else having drop outs of that feature?

Great work, this widget is one of the most useful things for Dashboard! Keep it simple and straightforward like you actually do!

One thing: Refresh doesn't work for me even in this version. Workaround: Select the widget on the Dashboard and press Command-R. Maybe you could use that key stroke for fixing the refreshing problem as well?

But what about a feature that makes the widget refresh when Dashboard is loaded or a button on the bottom left to manually refresh the news?

Command-R may not work here: the widget will refresh but the news won't. And the current version will empty the content if you refresh the widget (Command-R) and you will have to wait until RSSBean refresh the news. I will improve/fix this in the next version.

A refresh button: I want it also but it looks hard to find a place to put it.

Refresh when Dashboard is loaded: It's easy to make but if you use Dashboard very often, the refresh is not necessary. That's the reason I removed this feature. I prefer to put an option for it in Preferences, but there are already too many ones.

New skin: Many thanks to RD, RSSBean will have a very beautiful skin soon (to replace my pure css design).
