BananAlbum seems like a nice flash implementation but the license applies to one website. According to the terms:

"A license will be tied to a particular website. Outside that domain an icon will be shown. You can publish albums under any subdomain or subfolder."

So, anyone who might have ideas of using it for client work should either abandon the idea or be willing to fork out $40 per site.

Here's a tip: Banana Album Creator makes several folders and files. When it asks for the "output" folder, create a new folder for all this stuff. If you put it in a folder that already has items in it (like "Documents"), the result will be confusing.

I've chosen a folder with 7 pictures, but all I got was just a falling banana on here on tiger... (10.4)

LOL... sorry i could help myself laughing, thinking of you putting 7 picture on the icon of the app and then having a banana falling on your computer and then on your Tiger (your cat i presume).

Creates a nice Flash-based photo gallery and an XML file where you can customize the page coloring and a few other options (manually).

Would be nice if you could enter these options in the GUI. It would also be a plus if you could customize the output a little more, like image/thumbnail sizes for instance. Or positioning of the thumbnails.

Overall a very impressive piece of software. Great for getting an attractive photo gallery up on your site quickly and without a lot of hassels.
