GrowlClock is an unobstrusive clock based on the Growl Notification Framework. It is aimed at users who find the default menu bar clock obstrusive and clunky. GrowlClock comes with its own preference pane and is activated by a hot key. The date format is user customizable too. GrowlClock is $2.95 donationware.

I cannot set a hot key and no extra time zones are accepted. In fact after I try and set the first extra time zone (which is not accepted), it does not let me try again unless I quit System Preferences.

I like the look of this though.

Nice app. Helps reduce MenuBar clutter.

Only one problem though... I can't seem to add any other time-zones... the add screen comes up, asks me to select a location, I do, and nothing's added.

If I try to do it again, the "Add..." button does nothing, at least not until i completely exit then start System Preferences and return to the GrowlClock prefpane... but still no go.

Beta 2 fixes the hotkey problem (a critical problem). I forgot to update the version strings, though. Anyway, rest assured, this is the second beta.

I am having the same problem as Stephan Geyer. The pref pane will not remember the keystroke I set.
