pdf-FieldMerge allows you to fill in PDF form fields automatically with just a few mouse-clicks. Process data from a database or a spreadsheet to your PDF - singularly or en masse - automatically or manually. Without any programming or some special IT know-how.

Currently, we process loan applications. For each borrower, there are about 20 different US Government pdf forms that need to be filled in. pdf-FieldMerge is a great tool to do automatically.

your suggestion does not work at all on my Mac. Maybe there is some additional software required I have not installed yet. I´ll give pdf-FieldMerge a try.

Haven't tried pdf-FieldMerge, but I recently had to automatically generate PDF files after filling in the form. I used a simple AppleScript to first generate a .fdf text file, then a call to pdftoolkit to merge the data with the PDF template. Works great. Cost: $0.
