A lovely program, but has big problems with my imac G5 20" 2.1 Ghz. Everytime I enable any screensaver I just get loads of screen flashing between my desktop and the Chimera program and the screensaver never starts. Very weird.

Inb other words: ANY screensaver, doesn't matter how nice, that messes with my system, sucks BIGTIME!

try deleting your preference pane cache in your Library folder. Had this problem too, was not related to chimera.

This is the second time I install this, and on 2 different systems, and in both cases it destroys my "Computername" screensaver.
And how to uninstall?

Works as a stand alone app. Would be an awesome as a screensave but I can't get it to work. Nothing ever comes up, screen just turn black. Dual 2Ghz G5 with Radeon 9600.

the browser currently known as Camino used to be called Chimera, until they were forced to change the name because there already *was* a browser called Chimera. but it hasn't been updated since like 1996 or so.

since your chimera isn't a browser, i think you'll be ok ;)

Great. As stand alone App an very good realworld GK performance bench.
Also OPenmark (small, not realworld, but even much much better than Xbench OpenGL) on their Site.
