birthdayBook is a simple and very useful application which presents elegant reminders of all upcoming birthdays and other events according to a user defined date range. You can customize the way the reminders look including creating their own icons from iPhoto or a folder of images. Last year I had a bug which caused the program interface to disappear. I could get the data field to show up when I would go under file and select "Print Table" but when I would select the arrow button to go back to the interface, Birthdaybook would quit. The bug came back again and it's been about a year since it happened before. I was playing with it for a couple of hours to find out what was wrong. When I went to the preferences and changed the range of days from "up to 20 days before to "up to 10 days before" the interface came back. Maybe there was too much information to display? I don't really know but I'm glad it's working again.
