Any explanation or tips?
Oh, and by the way Eric Wahlforss - I dunno what you're doing wrong but my Kontakt 2 works fine. Maybe you're just expecting it to behave differently, but I'm sure it works as *intended* under Logic Express.
Other comments? Bring back the "strip silence" function and the "Audio Configuration" editor so I can shuffle my plugins around

Also a plus: no more dongle! Although you'll still need it to activate the upgrade the first time you launch LE7.
I still keep LE6 though because of its ability to *write* EXS instruments, although that functionality was possibly available by sort of a "mistake" (or even a "bug"). In LE7 the EXS Instrument Editor is definitely gone from the Audio menu.

man, this sucks badly -- it's clearly the way things goes when we are dealing with a monopoly situation...

Caveat emptor..
Besides that, Apple most definitely is not a monopoly, hence the existence of Cubase and Pro Tools and probably a slew of other fully capable softwares which I'm not aware of. You do, in fact, have other options, and this bad situation you've come underis your own fault.
