I swapped out the icon with one swiped from inside 'KeyboardViewer.component' -- just search inside /System for 'Keyboard' and the package will come up.

Much nicer looking than the *hideous* incarnation of the American flag that Apple ships Obvious left over from OS 9.

good idea, but the icons look pretty bad. think you can make them more like the default icons?
