Contrary to its claims, it handles stacks very poorly. Also horribly designed overall, perhaps better only than imagej. Thumbs down all the way.

This concerns the free version: Volocity LE. This is to my knowledge the best toolv found on the mac to browse trough stacks of 4D/5D images (x, y, z, t and different channels). This is a very specific tools extremely useful for poeple working on time lapse sequences coming from confocal and video microscopes.

This application is very difficult to use. It tries to do everything without actually knowing what it does.

First of all, incorporating so different functionality in one application looks like a wrong concept. Totally unusable for me in its present condition. Why developers of this software think that researchers should have so much pain using software for their studies? Come on, this a MAC application. Make it fun to use.
