It's been a while since this was updated - is it still under active development at all?

Definitely one of the worst apps I have ever seen in my life. A horrible user interface (graphical glitches when selecting items in the menu), bugs (crashes) and an ugly icon. This small app should be free. It's a joke when someone demands money for this kind of software.
Try utilities like Atomic Beef or Quicksilver. Both are free and do the same.

"Small apps should always be free"

Umm.. No. Nobody should be expected to work for free. Sometimes it's nice if they do, but if an app is good they should be able to ask for payment. This doesn't strike me as that small anyway.. Has taken the developer some time to get it this nice, and it does a lot of stuff.

Sorry to read about what happened in the past. Not the kind of publicity a developer would like. Still, I just downloaded and tried PiquantMenu and have to say I like it a lot. For me it works as advertised, looks great and very useful indeed (at least, for my needs). Could do without the dock icon though.

Too bad the programmer is linked to the infamous app4Mac/ADNX people.

Encore bravo.
wonderfull app....worth a try....a keeper for sure.

Piquant Menu is a cheap clone of the original OS X menubar launcher Snard. Another crappy utility no one really needs.

Thanks so much for your Anonymous comment that no one really needs.

Have you ever seen Snard? PM is just another clone of it. I mean it seriously. The options PM offers are more or less the same. There's nothing new. And we don't need 30 apps of this kind.

It's a good utility but you can get "BUTLER" for free, same functions...
