- can't enter records with an amount of 0.00. It says in the help that this is an intentional restriction... it makes no sense - I might want to record that my bank paid £0.00 interest, or that my credit card bill was £0.00.
- long keywords are truncated by word in the main list. They should shrink, then become truncated as in the Finder.
- the large button in the bottom right is a waste of screen space, and where's the buttons for keywords and new book?
- no preferences for currency
- creating keywords is a pain like in iPhoto, when it could be much simpler, like iTunes's 'genre'.
- searches only comments, not keywords
It also says in the help that "The use of iBal should be pretty obvious, especially if you have any experience in using iTunes or iPhoto." Well it's not, okay? That line should read "The use of iBal should be pretty obvious -- if you wrote it!"
I guess the stupid restriction on disallowing zero value entries speaks for the whole program. Just like a Microsoft program, its features are author-centric, and its version number is no indicator of its pedigree.
Graph feature would be nice though.
