SysInfo... System infomation spigot. Gives user hostname, date and time, uptime, hostinfo, number of kernel panics, etc. Has the ability to show user information about individual kernel panics, as well as panic and system log.

Requirements

Looks handy. Couple of comments:

1. Should be able to pick other logfiles (console.log in particular).
2. Logfiles should be 'tail -f'ed or equivalent.

Seems to work well here (10.2). But I have one question: what command are you using for "finger"? It's showing some guy who I've never heard of, who has never logged in.

The "finger" uility should reference the short name of the currently logged in user. You may not recognize the short name of your user. I don't believe that you will register as "logged in" if you have never opened a terminal session in Mac OS X (using the program "Terminal" at "/Applications/Utilities/Terminal" on your hard drive. I would not worry.
