I would keep this game as it's an enjoyable and mindless way to spend a few minutes except for one glaring flaw: there is no undo. If you goof you might as well quit. I might mention as well that I have never won this game; the odds must be astronomical.

A good, self-deprecating little joke of a Solitare app. Not quite on the same level as Freeverse's infamous Jared or SimStapler apps, but worthwhile nevertheless. (I played this game a lot with real cards as a kid, before computers made solitare an even more brainless actvity.) Pity the cards aren't bigger.

I love this game! I was unfamiliar with this version of solitaire before I stumbled upon this app. What a perfect way to waste a few minutes.

what's the point of not putting a game in the trash if you can never win it. i mean, after playing over thirty or fifty games in the last week and not being rewarded with *one* miserly win - i trashed it. there. i win.

Anonymous 1: I never thought that anyone would need any written rules to understand the game, but rules are anyway available in the only menu that exists, which is mentioned in the only file that is attached in the download. You got it right that it really doesn't take itself seriously, and I'm glad that you for whatever reason got yourself a laugh :)

Anonymous 2: What a shame! You're completely right, I used that icon when I once spend an hour to write the game, without any intentions whatsoever to ever release it to public, and I never thought about it when I did, until I saw your post. IconFactory has forgiven me, that is the idiot's delight in this case, and the icon is changed.

Ok, since the previous reviewer apparently could not figure out just what the rules of this game are, I will take it upon myself to do just that.

The object of the game is to have only Aces left when you have finished.

How to play:
--Deal your first set of cards. If you have multiple cards of a single suit, click on the lesser valued card (ie, 7 is lesser than 8, Jack is lesser than King, etc) to remove it from the stack and continue until you have none remaining from that 'hand' that can be removed. The game goes on like this until you have removed all cards except for the aces from your tableau.
--If you have an open spot on your tableau, you can move a card from one of the 'towers' into that spot to make the next card underneath it accessible for the possible removal of more cards during that round.

Restrictions:
--In order to remove a card that is of a lesser value than another, they cannot be on top of one another or stacked within the same 'tower'. The cards of the same suit must be both on the top or you cannot remove either.
--This only works with cards of the same suit. If you have a Queen of Hearts and a Jack of Diamonds, you cannot remove the Jack. They must be only of the same suit for it to work.

Hopefully this will explain everything thoroughly enough so that this simple, yet effective, time wasting game is not poorly reviewed again due to an apparent lack of intelligence.

My ratings:
--3 on Features because it has only the necessary few features for such a game.
--4 on Playability because it is a nice, effective, implementation of this particular solitaire game.
--5 on Graphics & Sound primarily because of the sound at the end, but also because of the cards. Small, yet perfect for such a game as this.
--5 on Stability, since it didn't crash or run at all slow during the time I played it.

Thanks for this game. I hope to hear about you making similarly styled versions of Klondike, Freecell, Canfield and the many other classic solitaire games that I've played. Good job.

To the above, the rules are included with the game, and i think the interface is very clean and usable. The game is addicting and i would recommend to those with some time to kill.

It's a good thing this game doesn't take itself seriously, because... well, it sucks.
For starters, those hoping for a free version of what Windows has had since the dawn of time... look elsewhere. The cards are too small, and it's not Klondike (if you don't know what Klondike is, then it's probably the only version of Solitaire you've played). Frankly, I'm not sure WHAT variant it is, nor do I have the faintest clue wat the rules are.

But like I said, it doesn't take itself seriously. Unfortunately, I'm laughing at it, not with it.
