The game is unplayable on a brand new G4 and slow on a G5.

1.03c is out (I got it on macgamefiles.com). Speed is *much* improved. It's actually playable now (though I have not pushed the settings and I have not reached any grassy areas) Before this I could not even move past the start without giving up frustrated, now I'm playing.

This is such a great game, it makes me angry that is literally unplayable in several areas. Aspyr again has done the bare minimum on this port and charged us $50 for it. Come on Aspyr get a grip.

Yeah, this pretty much sucks. I have a 17 inch 1.5g G4 with 1.5gb of RAM and the game play is choppy to the point of being unplayable. The story is awesome and I would love to actually play, but this is definately not worth $49.99 with this crappy playability.
I think that Aspyr needs to re-evaluate how they port these games over to Mac.

Wonderful game BUT Aspyr ruined this game like they do with all games... graphics are choppy on machines that it should do well on,and there are little interface glitches that piss you off

KOTOR 1 is an awesome game... on Windows. WTF here? I need a g5 to play this bloated version when the game works very well on my old PC. Is this a joke?
The game (Windows version) 10/5
The OS X version 0/5 sadly >:-(

These boards are not for you to troll. KotOR does not run well on an old PC, 640x480 with few graphical options enables is what it takes to run on my P4 2400 with a gig of ram and a 256 meg graphics card. However, it plays on my aunt's eMac and my friend's iMac at higher resolutions and looks better.

It looks like there aren't any patches to fix the movement problem in kotor 1. Or maybe I am the only one having this problem? Try to move in one direction, character spins around, freezes in the running position, and then launches across the screen. The game is completely unplayable!!!!!!!!!
I know this isn't the right forum for this but it seems to strange that i'm the only one experiencing this bazaar glitch!

Easily, the best STAR WARS game ever made!
-Many hours of game play.
-Interesting and beautiful locations.
-Characters and dialog is sometimes hilarious. -Lots of weapons and armor to choose from.
-Leveling up your character is fast and painless.
-Turn based strategy with all the action of a FPS.
this is probably one of the best games that I have ever played, and to be honest I love the whole star Wars thing. I was reading a previous viewer's issue with the game not being able to be run on anything but a G5. There is a lot to say for that. The main reason is because of the frontside bus.. Most people dont see that is being an issue but believe me, it is. Running the game for example with a Dual 1.42Ghz G4 you would think would be enough processor speed to run the game. Especially with the Nvidia 64mb card that comes with the computer. Yes, it is true normally it would if the computer wasn't only running on 167Mhz frontside buss. Whereas the garbage 2.0 Ghz Celeron E-machine that you have at home runs circles around that game. Considering that the T2042 E-machines has a 400 Mhz frontside bus is why the game rocks the computer unlike the Mac. Mac's are wonderful machines, I love them till the end but the G4 processor is definitely not the issue. Nor the video card. The frontside bus is the culperate and now that the G5's are here to take over, that is my recommendation. Don't complain, just buy a G5 and it will end your issues. =)
