XDroplets are a set of launchers that better integrate X11 programs with the Mac OS X environment by providing the following features:

X11 programs can be launched via the Finder or Dock
documents can be opened directly in X11 programs via double-clicking or drag and drop
URLs can be forwarded from Mac apps to X11 programs
X11 automatically gets launched if it is not already open

The distribution includes XDroplets Factory, a utility for generating your own custom X11 launchers.

Added administrator password mode to query file permissions and request an administrator password if required for viewing or editing the files.
Added option for XDroplets to remain running until the program they launched quits.
Updated icons for existing launchers and added many new launchers.

Converted XDroplets scripts to Universal binary (thanks Adam Scheblein).

Great, I love this tool. Especialy the XDroplet Factory which is very useful.

download continually pauses sometimes causing safari to freeze over, i think i'll give this a miss, bad omen perhaps.

RoadTripDK had trouble on 17 Nov 2006

I just installed evolution from the Novell homepage (evolution 2.6). I can't get the Evolution droplet to work. The Evolution binary is installed in /opt/gnome-2.14/bin/ and I think the droplet may be looking Evolution in /sw/bin/

When I run the command '/opt/gnome-2.14/bin/evolution-start.sh' to determine why Evolution doesn't start, I get the following messages:
