I honestly think Alan should change his Surname from GLENN to WHEN.
There's yet another year between my posts Alan, and still no native SndSampler... !?
Well after using your software (and upgrading each time), I'm waiting for you no longer... from today I bid you farewell as I've just found Rogue Amoeba's absolutely outstanding 'FISSION', which really makes SndSampler look soooooo antiquated.
I've been a customer of most your versions since the early days in the mid-1990s; my current version on the MacPro has topped out at v5.94 and even though it's only PPC it still runs well and is a valuable part of my Final Cut Studio set-up.
My point though, like the post below me... why or why in 2008 are you introducing a new full version of your software that's not Universal Binary for Intel Macs... they've now hit critical mass and all us die-hard OS9Forever people (of which I was the absolute last) have *all* now moved on. We're all on OSX now Alan... nobody but nobody (even the Atari guys in music studios) are using OS8.6 / SoundManager-enabled machines any more so why, as an active developer are you still supporting them?
I'll honestly not be justifying upgrading to v6 or any further until you develop a UB build. Snd will just stagnate in what is now an extremely competitive market.
Within minutes I was opening and editing waveforms, adjusting volumes, transforming mono clips to stereo with panning, and clipping noise.
Very simple to use, friendly interface.
It quickly did what I wanted it to do. The final results are very high quality. I needed an Audio editor to help me get more from iMovie, and this is the one.
I registered it within an hour of my first download, SndSampler is just that good.
This is one of the truly great programs that just won't go away. You gotta love a developer with staying power!! Great job folks.

Perhaps you should submit a bug report and we can look into the issue. You can submit bugs at http://www.sndsampler.com/. That might be a bit more productive than simply posting it here.

This "review" seems suspiciously like the previous "after 5 minutes into the trash." Perhaps one of our competitors is trying to improve his own sales by reducing ours.
I would say it isn't. The IP addresses of the two posters are completely different. - MU ADMIN

Wow, this program is amazing. The new multi channel features are great, makes working with split stereo files a snap. You can even play mutli channel back on a two channel stereo output, or on a multi channel device if you have one. You can record from multi channel devices, too, and select which channels you want to record from. Whats best is that all of this works on Mac OS9 as well as OSX.
