N has been described as reminiscent of lode runner -- you're a little dude running around in a puzzle-y world inhabited by enemies.
But in N, there's a twist: the ninja is driven not only by a thirst for gold, but also by a physics simulation.
Death, which happens often, is quite animated.

Version 1.4: Release notes were unavailable when this listing was updated.
Requirements
PPC, Mac OS X 10.2 or later, Macromedia Flash player.
Be the first to recommend a similar software title.
Still a fun game, even in 2007. If you're a fan of Pac-Mac, Donkey Kong, Lode Runner, or similar puzzle-arcade games, you'll like this one. The simple animations are just fine -- Halo is fine for Halo but it would be overkill here. Truthfully, fun, puzzles, and gameplay are what it's all about here, and I'd trade that for flashiness or "zazz" any day.
This is something every game developer (and perhaps level designer) needs to play so they can appreciate the enormous amount of fun that can be had from such simple controls and gameplay.
This game is quite challenging ... a real test of timing and patience, but hugely fun with long-lasting appeal. Emphasis is strongly on gameplay, the graphics and sound are very simple. Reminiscent of fun games from 20 years ago, I've enjoyed this more then current commercial titles costing £40.

WOW!

Upon running the game, a warning message appears from Macromedia Flash asking for permission to save files locally.
Something within the game is obviously using Flash... although IMO this does not detract from the fun! :-)
My only complaint would be that it's sometimes too hard to get your ninja to jump off vertical walls properly... perhaps more practice is needed!

AMAZING game!
just a warning, if you start playing this, you probably wont want to stop! very addicting and very well made.
and to the person talking about Macromedia and spyware, what are you talking about? this game is independently made, not by Macromedia. it has no spy/adware what so ever.

Hi
Well, I've tried a few things, gone back to Safari, found a few hassles, but still can't get this to download. I have the same problem trying to get the sysstat widget.
1. Would anyone know what the glitch could be?
2. Would anyone mind sending me the .dmg of the game?
I can't get in contact with the maker because I can't even get on his website. It could be that I am in China. Some of the propganda controls they have here are amazing.
If someone could help, that would be great.
Thanks.

Super - Can't stop playing, very cool, love the enemies and the way it works, although, maybe the ninja could have a couple of weapons, only defensive, but still helpful.
