This costs as much as Transmit, a far, far superior ftp client.

Wow, this actually may be uglier than CuteFTP. Didn't know that was possible.
It's about time for developers to figure out that the side-by-side lists of files is NOT a good FTP interface. I don't need a clumsy local file viewer - I already have an excellent one called the Finder, with drag and drop.

B-b-but the aqua style interface! Just look! :D
This one was clearly designed with my bowel problems in mind. Just pathetic.

When I saw "Bulletproof FTP" in my RSS reader, my heart skipped a beat. Could it be that my search for a genuinely good FTP client for OS X was over? Nope. In less than five minutes my hopes were dashed upon the rocks like so much garbage.
Bulletproof FTP is one of my all-time favorite clients for Windows, and has the two features I have yet to find in any OS X FTP client: really good queueing features and the ability to work without establishing more than one connection to an FTP server. This program does neither of those things - in fact, I can't even see that it can queue files at all. In fact, other than looking vaguely like the Windows version of BPFTP, it doesn't seem to be anything like it at all.
Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Windows users may accept second rate GUIs. Mac users do not, especially when there are better, more developed options at a lower price point.
Maybe a good start, but looks and acts too much like a windows app for me.
Plus, although it seems to think it can support SFTP I could not connect to any servers that way.

Effortless - Ease-of-use is what made BPFTP for Windows famous. BPFTP Client Mac was created with the same easy-to-use goal in mind, by carefully adhering to Macintosh Aqua® Interface and usability guidelines.
