The last version was kinda buggy and didn't work. But v1.3 is working OUTSTANDING! This is a great program that compliments another great program. Thanks for writing this!

Alright! I like this! It'd be nice if my JUST a new message window opened up when I select a contact to message from the menu (currently my contact list also pops up). Other than that this is great! :)

Maybe you should reword that to "Probably the best" to be more correct.
Some peoples prefer other clients, and some prefer the official IM clients for what they do.
This is a question of taste and habbits.

"The Best" connotes opinion, and the developer of this plug-in most likely feels Proteus *is* the best, as he/she went through the effort to write a plug-in for it.
I see nothing wrong with the description.

You're right. He should have worded it as the "better" IM client for Mac OSX. Because labeling it as the "better" IM client means that is surpasses every other program out there. And it does.
The developer of Proteus has written a program that is updated frequently, works without error, and is very pleasing to look at. It looks like a real OSX program.
I did not want to offend anyone, but Proteus is the best client in my oppinion.

Eh.. sorry to break it, but it's still an opinion, that the developper of this applciations feels it's the best it doesn't mean it is, it's an opinion, not the great Holy Truth. Some other peopel prefer other clients (as myself, after using Proteus for a year and a half, I found Adium, and I'm much happier).
