I have to say that this is an absolutely brilliant app! I was at the AstoundIt website to try their Guitar Shed app and decided to dl this and try it too. I purchased it the same day. It works perfectly (in my experience) and I love being able to see what the site looks like rather than the generic icon and often cryptic title on my saved urls. Terrific and worth every penny!

Bandar Raffa,

Thanks for trying Webseecon - the drop shadows you mentioned are coming in the next update (Within a few days).

Webseecon serves only a very specific function, which only processes normal saved URLs (that have a .webloc extension) - it's not meant for normal HTML files. We haven't had a chance to use the new beta Safari yet, but when it's released, we'll be sure to add support. Thanks again for trying it.

Tried it on CNN.com, and it saved the icon sans the banner at the top of the page (it appears in icons as broken image). Of course in the browser, that does not happen.

I also tried a site I frequent that had a particularly long file name. Webseecon wouldn't let me drag and drop it on the window or icon. I shortened the file name and it worked.

It would be nice if the scroll bar didn't show up in the icons, as on a darker icon it just looks like a thin white line down the right side of the page.

This software has promise, but appears to be of beta quality. I certainly wouldn't register it just yet.
