From what I can determine, author Tommy Pavlicek was a recent high school graduate who grew disenchanted with software development after RapidWeaver stole Site Studio's thunder. He appears to have moved on ... not just to university, but to a lucrative career as a world-class poker player!
It's really a shame, though: this unfairly-overlooked app fairly drips with elegance. It hums along just fine under 10.4.11 and packs some amazing capabilities, given its tiny footprint.

FWIW, I've just now uploaded a copy of Site Studio to the MacUpdate server so it will always be available.

Below someone said you are not able to change font, and font size. That statement is FALSE. You can change font and its size, just sorta hidden :)

How is it possible to pretend this is a "revolution" (cf. the company web site), to affirm this is an editor/site creator, while basic items are impossbile!!!???
Key & vital points that should be adressed include:
* inability to choose a font (hard to believe);
* inability to choose a font isze (hard to believe);
* inability to add a table (hard to believe);
* bugs when adding pictures.
Cost of use (a.k.a ease of use) is very high, as many basic actions require painful, time-and-energy-wasting steps.
Example? A vital operation (adding a page) is not possible with lifesaving keyboard shortcuts. But not only that: it has to use space-wasting menu (listing the 8 page types through too big a list), and the user has to select each and every time the page type, as no default exists!
Adding a couple of pages, and apparently no-brainer task, is incredibely painful and irritating.
Why not have a floating palette with the different page types, always available on-hand, and also keyboard-shortcut friendly?
The only use of this tool could be to create a nice canvas/general structure (nice themes included, one of the few positives!), then edit it in a real web editor.

And the best: It doesn't need an external FTP-Client
Just a wonderful app!

If they don't respond then you can slander them all you want, but you might find out that they are willing to help you and give you the chance to write a glowing review about how helpful they were.
Just a though.

What was a very good app is now a GREAT app. Site Studio is nothing short of impressive, and, hands down, the easiest-to-use web editor that you can find for any system.

The only thing I wish it had was a little calendar page where you could have a little graphical calendar that people could flip through and see what's coming up.
Thanks.
Has features that are barely starting to show up on RapidWeaver!

V1.1 corrects the bugs mentioned.
Hope this sets the record straight ...
