Phoenix Ball is a 3D breakout game designed with fast G4 and G5 machines with decent video cards in mind, although it does run quite well on fast G3s iBooks.
Keep your ball bouncing off your paddle through twenty five levels of eye popping graphics. Keep an eye out for the thirteen bonuses that fly off bricks.
What's New
Version 1.64:
iTunes aware, switches off music if iTunes is playing a song
Although the some users may report crashes they may be experiencing the countdown of 6 minutes. The first few times I played I thought it was crashing. Game play is slightly hesitent at times but overall the best game of this type. I wish the time limit wasn't a factor I wish we could see more levels before committing to buy.

Cute.. :D It's like.. An amiga advert in game form..
I agree about the physics being a bit off when it hits the edges of the bat. Other than that it's great. ^^

A little jerky but surprisingly playable on my 600 MHz G3. Graphics improvements from OS X 10.3.4 may be a factor in this.
[Version 1.0.1]
