3D particle fireworks screensaver. Shareware ($5)
Digital FireworX are fully rendered 3D particle animations created to simulate fireworks. Each firework piece is self contained in it's own file, sort of like a plug-in; this allows Digital FireworX to be modular, so that new fireworks effects can be added as they are created.
What's New
Version 2.7: Compiled as a Universal Binary to add native support for Intel based Macs. Optimized some code for more efficient screen drawing. Loaded background images now scale to fit the display.

First, it needs more fireworks. Right now, it is simply too repetitive to view the fireworks they include.
Second, performance is not great on an 800mhz G4 iMac with a GeForce2MX. It stutters.
Third, the fireworks going up and exploding look very good, but the way they fade does not feel right. I think the fade time needs to be longer.
Anyway, this shows some real promise!
