Nice app :)

But, with a name like KeyKaps, it sounds like it's for KDE

Great! Thanks for that Ollie; I never liked using that menu and I can assign a function key to your script with Xkeys.

Much handier than having to have the lame International Menu active all the time.

That was one problem with my upgrade to OSX years ago, that KeyCaps became Keyboard Viewer. Ug, and the way to get to the Keyboard Viewer is awful - Turn it on, in the first place, in the international prefs, then it's in a menu that I couldn't spare the space for. So now, with just opening KeyKaps (via LaunchBar), I can easily open The Keyboard Viewer. Huzzah!
