BluePhoneMenu is a small application that adds Caller ID functionality to your menu bar and desktop using your Bluetooth enabled phone.
BluePhoneMenu does not need to sync with your address book or run any complex tasks. Simply add BluePhoneMenu to your startup items and it will wait for a call from any Bluetooth phone you have paired. You can also monitor signal strength, battery power and many other properties all from the menu bar.
What's New
BluePhoneMenu is no longer supported. It has been superceeded by BluePhoneElite.
Requirements
PPC, Mac OS X 10.3 or later.
Be the first to recommend a similar software title.
This is probably the most convenient program I've ever come across on the Mac.
From now on, all I need is a bluetooth phone, and a size fit for my pocket.
All I need is to use the menu to read and send SMS, which alone is an ingenious ability. Never fancied typing on a phone.
The ability to make a call from the program and afterwards lift the phone to your ear, or using a headset, is also great.
What I do miss, however, is a Service that allows me to highlight a phone number and make a call.

I too love the icon BUT I don't think it works well in the Menu Bar, it should fit in with other menu bar items for instant recognition good visibility and style consistancy.

Getting better all of the time, and I love the icon (don't change it!).
Still exits after sleep sometimes, but hey, for the price, it's a bargain.
Is it possible to use it to send sms on P800? Please help. Thanks a lot!

Hello April,
This is a problem that has to do more with SonyEricsson than with BluePhoneMenu or with Apple. It is the way that the AT commands are sent via BT out to the network(GSM). You would be better sending your comments to SE. I have tried but they will not address the issue.
