Orbituary is a game where you try to knock the other players off the screen while staying on the screen yourself. You control a coloured ball, which has the ability to attatch itself to a number of "nodes" which are floating in the arena. By attatching and detatching with the correct timing, you can manovre your way around the arena quickly and accurately.

What's New

Version 1.1:

Powerup names follow the players who have the powerup around so you can see who has what powerup. When powerups are used/discarded they shatter.
Three new block types added: Blinking Blocks and Unstable Blocks.
Two new game types added: Blinkmatch and Unstable
Deathmatch, using Blinking Blocks and Unstable Blocks.
Bots should play acceptably on both game types.
Some scoring issues addressed.
Extra level, "Nomad Arena" using Periodic Blinking Blocks (can only play if registered).
Known issue: I don't have sounds for Blink Deathmatch or Unstable Deathmatch yet. For now, using Deathmatch sound instead.

PPC, Mac OS X 10.0 or later, QuickTime 4.0 or later, OpenGL.

yikes! for some reason that i can't yet fathom this game seems to crash every so often which is weird as i've had no problems for about 8 months. In fact i was so pleased with this game i registered it.

I have a feeling that the 10.3.8 update broke something, anyone else having this problem?

This game seriously rocks. The most addictive arcade game I have ever played. The developer is also very open to suggestions. A+

Maybe the guy has to eat. People normally get paid for work. What does $8 buy anyway?

to the developer :it was a great game, still a great game, but why does it cost $8, now that lots of people got it for free? if it was to cost something, it should have been done in the beginning .Still, its a great game, nothing more to say . It has a very original concept, simple to learn instruction and is very addictive!

I thank you for the great games you make!

The reason I've added a (I hope) reasonable price is because I've put a lot of effort into this. Also, version >= 1.0 has a lot of new stuff compared to older versions. Plus the crippling isn't exactly unreasonable - I don't continually nag or anything. Feel free to keep playing with 0.9 if you must...

The game is great, but it crashes almost every other time someone wins.

Also, it would be great if it could remember which players were AI, out, or active after you quit.
