I would like to give a thumbs up for this utility. I know that many people have issues with this product, which is probably why Apple removed it from there site. However, in my particular installation (schools) this tool works flawlessly. I have 66 AirPort Extreme Base Stations at my largest building and the utility sees every single one including the ones using WDS. It has been a godsend.

Anyone know why the Apple Airport Managment Tool will not accept my password when I am trying to monitor my base station? It seemed to find my base station with no problem, however, when I try to monitor it, the Managment Tool asks me for my password and informs me it is incorrect. I know I have the right password because I checked in Airport Admin Utility. Any help would be great as this tool looks like it might be very cool!

Played with it for a couple of hours last night to manage my network of 4 Airport Extreme base stations and all I can say is WOW, this is the tool I've been looking for! You can view all base station setting on one screen, log in using the Connection Utility, and best of all, view signal strengths of all clients AND the signal strengths between base stations to help with optimum placement. No more guessing! FANTASTIC!

It comes with 2 programs.

The Airport Management Client, well that's great if you have to deal with Airport Base Stations and such. No good for me as I don't even have one.

However the Airport Client Monitor is real cool as we can now watch the signal, noise and connection speed of any network we are on! It only does a graph though.
