FCP Rescue... Instant backup, restore and removal of Apple Final Cut Pro's preference files using this small utility that helps you if Final Cut Pro crashes and corrupts its preference files. Also very useful if other editors use your login, and you want to be able to go back to YOUR settings afterwards. Very simple interface. One backup per user login. Trashing and restore, affects ONLY the current logged in user.
The backup includes ALL FCP settings, including:
User preferences
Audio/Video settings
System settings
Windowsettings
Keyboard
Requirements
PPC / Intel, Mac OS X 10.4.9 or later, Final Cut Pro 6 or later.
I remember i had to use this for FCP and worked wonders, and now I updated to Leopard and it crashes at start up, PLEASE UPDATE.

Yep. This is an excellent tool, and if it's not to be part of FCP then it should come bundled with it. Saved my bacon on more than one occasion...

This program is amazing. It easily backs up your FCP Prefs and lets you restore them from a good state. It is quick and easy, and works perfectly, my only complaint is that it should be built into FCP itself.
Rescue 5 was a great product running in Tiger but sadly doesn't seem to run under Leopard. "Unexpectedly crashes" everytime I try to start it. Anyone else had this experience?
