LED Spectrum Analyser is a colourful visualizer for iTunes that emulates a LED Spectrum Analyzer, with lots of customisation available of layout, colours, meter ballistics and much more. A complete rewrite of a similar earlier release for SoundJam, with many new features.

This plug-in will not allow iTunes to open - all I get with it "installed" is a blank dialog box and the ability to hit what I guess is "ok." (2.0.5)

I remove the plugin, everything works great! I put it back in the plugins folder, and nothing works.

This happened for me after upgrading to Tiger and 10.4.1 - but it may also be 4.8 related.

If your iTunes suddenly dies, check your plugins out by removing them and adding them back in one at a time.

I enjoy the vis - but not when it prevents iTunes from evening opening.

Bug?
With this plugin installed, some contextual menus in iTunes start to behave unexpectedly.
Point in case: Control-click a Smart Playlist and choose "Edit Smart Playlist". Nothing happens. Choose "Open" in same contextual menu, the selection shifts to another playlist but nothing opens.
Everything works as expected again as soon as the plugin is removed and iTunes is relaunched.
OS 10.3.8, iTunes 4.7.1 (30)

If this plugin will not run on your system: CHECK THE DEVELOPER'S SITE, they have a fix for this problem.

Doesn't Work!

LED Spectrum Analyser 2.0.5 doesn't appear in the iTunes visualizer menu. Running iTunes 4.2, Jag 10.2.8.

Too bad, I had this in SoundJam and was really looking forward to using it again...

This is good, anyone who enjoys music and there mac will love this.

Also if you don't own a pair of sound-sticks your missing out.

Interstitial had trouble on 19 Apr 2005

For some unknown reason, the 2.02 version of this plug-in, iTunes 4.7.1, and Mac OS X 10.3.9 resulted in my iTunes being unable to complete launching. It had this weird error dialogue with no actual text in it!

Other than this obscurity, I like the visual effects!
