HideItControl automatically hides specified applications when they are not in the foreground. Preferences give you control over:

specifying which applications will be hidden by HideItControl
starting/stopping and whether HideItControl starts at login
defining a hotkey and a switching-click modifier to temporarily disable HideItControl

Always a hassle trying to deal with Derman registration schemes. Spirited Away provides a much better experience with much less trouble.

Wonderful work! Simple to configure, hotkey to temporarily disable, dimming desktop mode... all very nice!

I've just disabled Spaces and decided to use HideItControl in Single Application Mode instead. Great work!

I bought a license for this when it wasn't free. Now I have the "free" version, except it doesn't allow me to hide more than 3 apps in "trial mode." Yet now there's no place to enter a serial number. And I cannot seem to connect to their site. What a rip.

This could be a very functional and useful program, but considering its price of $10, I choose to use SpiritedAway, which has all the same functions, other than the Hot Key, but is free. I have used SpiritedAway for many months without difficulty and it is Tiger Compatible. Feel free to make an informed decision.
